Let me introduce myself, I'm Jogy,my musical roots come from my grandfather, who was a gipsy violin player, from Budapest, Hongary. My musical career starts at school, where my first real passionate moment with making music was by playing ragtime piano (Scott joplin), But always playing way to fast, but it impressed people , so I kept on doin' it.
When in high school, I came in contact with Rock & Roll, through great friends and some real good local bands, wich inspired me and my friends to start sa band of our own called Feedback, later it was called What's Next... and later on to Maniac Mulock, because of the brothers I played with then.
But always I loved jamming with every musician I met, and just by playing together and improvise, I really learned what music is all about, it's a feeling.
So when electronica started to make great instruments and digital recording and sequencing possible, I could jam with myself, by first playing/ programming drums, adding a bassline, some chords and a new song is born.
When I finished School, I went to the Rotterdams Conservatorium, where I started to learn there new electronica course, but that didn't work for me, I was to busy organising after party's at the Bash-O, wich where very succesfull and legendary.
During these days, I started playing along with d.j.'s with keyboards, years later I did this again with roelove 74 and jurr at the supperclub in amsterdam and with B-art at the great Pizazz Events at the Club De Ville at the westergasfabriek and Panama also in Amsterdam.
After my father died in 2002, I stopped performing live for a while, but now I'm back and improved, because I never stopped playing music and it helped me through some hard times.
I know there are a lot of blanks and people and things I forgot to mention, but this site is still under construction, so I will be
adding/deleting a lot of content, but I like to show everybody the progress. so enjoy
